JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN’T FEEL IT TOO DOESN’T MEAN THAT YOU HAVE TO FORGET.

I’m FINE. Only I was down with diarrhea and vomiting and fever all weekend. I get headaches whenever I read for too long, and I haven’t had any appetite since Friday. And you have no idea what it feels like to NOT feel hungry! I’ve dropped 2kg and wasted two perfectly good days of studying. On top of everything, I have the impossible, mammoth task of completing the class t-shirt before graduation, with SPM only 23 days away. D: Time to SERIOUSLY hit the books! Because like David said when he got his less-than-satisfactory Chemistry Paper 3 back: “You know what this means? This means NO JOB!!!” (Of course we all heard something else. But that’s besides the point, eh? x)) I’m very very tempted to NOT do as all the other SPM bloggers are doing and prove that somehow I can go online and still be able to study productively. But for those of you who know me, that’s utter rubbish. :) Even though my trials results are wayyyy beyond satisfying (to myself only, of course!)… Better not to take chances with my willpower. Therefore, here goes conformity nothing: *takes a deep breath* HYE-AH-TUSS! There, it is proclaimed. Exceptions will be made for Graduation, which is only 7 schooling days away. I’m wasting the 8th day away here at home, recovering from a freaking viral infection. ): Would the rest of the world please have pity on all the 17-year-old Malaysians and refrain from uploading nice songs, videos and posts while we’re staring life-or-death in the face, so as not to distract us? We promise to spare you when we start ruling the world. :) via On a random note, my family in Penang seems determined to make me miss all my running events. On August 1st, I had to miss the King of the Road for Angela’s wedding. On November 1st I’ll be missing the Terry Fox Cancer Run for Yeh-yeh’s birthday!!! I mean I love you all lah, but your timing is OFF. PS: Oh I tell you right. Outbreak is the PERFECT movie to watch when you’re sick, or just recovering. :)
INTRODUCING
Name: Louise
13 April 1992
You can only call me Lulu if you don’t think the name’s funny.
I am a member of the Smiley Conspiracy and a proud ex-CHS-ian, graduating class of 2009. Now doing A-Levels at HELP University College. Is proudly Malaysian, but doesn’t look like it and is proud of that too.
This is the 7th time I am editing this about section of the blog this year; I have sort of accepted that my personality is ever-evolving, ever-changing, therefore rendering my moods as volatile as the weather. But just as there are some things that have stood untouched across the centuries by harsh weather, so there are some things with me that remain ever the same: a belief that to live is to learn, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks.
What I love also remains constant. I love good food, dancing, fresh experiences, open minds and friendly people, all of which can be found in the wonderful wonderful city that is Istanbul. I love musicals, plays, good books, stickers, owls, colourful wrapping paper, hugs and kisses, chocolates, almost any music from the 17th to the 21st century, intense debates and post-it notes.
Fictional characters I have been compared to (in terms of personality) are Piglet from Winnie The Pooh and Kelsi from High School Musical.
I dream of finishing this list [29/8/2010: list is undergoing revamp!], and my secret ambition is to become a hairdresser or bartender. Unfortunately I’m also incredibly kiasu, so I’m going to go to university just to show everyone that I can. But want to go to uni also because I love learning lah!
Words that describe me are impulsive, impetuous, quixotic, sanguine, quirky, bewildered, kiasu and hodgepodge. The last one also refers to my sense of fashion.
*GRINS* :D
