Hooked on: Viva La Gloria by Green Day

To make up for that boring last post. Here’s something funnier.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

20 Famous Last Words.

The deathbed can lead people to speak with great honesty and, in many cases, humor. This is a list of 20 last words by famous people.

Isabella Deathbed 400W

9. Hey, fellas! How about this for a headline for tomorrow’s paper? ‘French Fries’!

10. Bugger Bognor.

11. It’s stopped.

16. Tomorrow, I shall no longer be here

Said by: Nostradamus

17. Hurry up, you Hoosier bastard, I could kill ten men while you’re fooling around!

Said by: Carl Panzram, serial killer, shortly before he was executed by hanging.

18. Put out the bloody cigarette!!

20. Now, now, my good man, this is no time for making enemies.

Said by: Voltaire when asked by a priest to renounce Satan.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wonder what my own last words are going to be. Probably something like,

I wonder what this big red button does.

What?

I did want to go out on a bang!

TOMORROW BELONGS TO NOBODY.

I haven’t done a tag in ages! And who reads tags anyway? I know I don’t. Unless it’s about me. So only 12 people will even bother reading this thing. If you get bored, you only have the person below to blame. (:

TAGGED BY SAW KAI BOON.

Rules:

- Pick 12 people from your blog link list.
- You can also include the person who tagged you among the 12 people.
- State how old they are.
- State how you met them.
- State when you met them.
- State the most memorable thing he/she said to you.
- State the most memorable thing he/she did with you.
- State what will make/remind you think of them.
- Tag all the 12 of them after you finish the tag.
- Remind all 12 of them that they are tagged.
- The people who are tag can retag the person who are tagged.
- ENJOY!

(by the way, I corrected that list. It was full of grammatical errors.)

1. Kai Boon.

17. Through Editorial Board. This year. Telling me that Kuning would looooose. Same thing as he said for me, which was bitching about Longkang, and making me feel better after that. He’s an Ungu freak. And I’ll remember him because I think he’s a really cool sub-Editor in Chief to work with. I can work well with him. :)

2. Lily

17. I’m not sure how I met her, but I’m pretty sure I talked to her in Form One. Through friends, but only got to know her well through Ed Board. This year. Leaving me in charge of the Ed Board room for the entire day (only once! many months ago) when she went debating. I’ll remember her because she’s an awesome EIC and fellow Headband Conspiracy member. :) OH and she’s just a day older than I am!

3. Ian Beh

18. Through the BRATs/Ed Board. Not sure which came first. Last year. Most memorable thing he said to me? “I’ve decided to name you as my successor.” WOOHOO! I mean, kidding, got more memorable things than that lah!! Most memorable thing done, a lot lah. It’ll take up half the page. I’ll remember this guy… pretty much all the time. :) Sometimes as the best friend, sometimes as the ridiculous person who laughs at things that I don’t always find funny. But whatever.

4. Pei She

16. Through Ed Board. This year. Calling me an awesome senior because I reminded her about the voting forms for the SCA. Going for the Green Fest. Will remember her with anything yellow-related!

5. Aaron Ng

16. Ed Board. *phew that’s almost all of them isn’t it?* This year. Ganging up with me against the stinky Longkang!  Most memorable thing said would be the Sports Day incident. (“Go MERAH!”) Will remember him whenever I see a bad photograph, or Jonathan Wong.

6. Meng Xin

17. 5S7, but I was her classmate back in 2A4 too. She sits in front of me in class. Most memorable thing done, creating the class page! Most memorable thing said, errr might have been when she told me I was awesome at drawing. Report cards will remind me of her because she’s so incredibly smart. O.O

7. Kimberley

17. 5S7/Rumah Kuning. She’s the awesome Kuning co-Captain! Most memorable thing done, running the 4x400m with her, Yee Jeat and Rou Xin. Which I fucked up lah. No need to be nice about it. :) Most memorable thing said, was what she said to me yesterday. HAHA. You wouldn’t know! See anything orange and I’ll remember her.

8. Yuee Sun

17. 5S7. I forgot how we started talking, but I think it was when I partnered with him for the oral presentation pair work. Which I did all the work for, but he got two marks more than I did!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s the most memorable thing done, besides working on the class page. The most memorable thing said? “You should consider dating me. For fun.” Will remember him when I think of… Umbrellas!

9. Kian Seong

18. Through LPS. He texted me first, I forgotten why. Most memorable thing done, going to the funeral with him earlier this year. Most memorable thing said was him telling me that I was the strongest person he knew. Will remember him whenever I think of… mushrooms! Which he is allergic to.

10. Elyssia

17. Standard 2! :) She borrowed the detective novels I’d brought to lend to someone else. The rest is history, baby. Most memorable thing said? She called me her awesome bestie, it doesn’t get better than that! Most memorable thing done, would be spending hours and hours on the phone with her and not getting bored. Or would it be finishing the script for an entire story with her back in Standard 6? Oh, memories. I’ll remember her forever!

OH and this was funny. I was talking to her on the phone yesterday, and onlining at the same time, and my dad was in the room. There was some P&C stuff I wanted to tell her, not the kind you want your parents to overhear. So I opened a chat with her online while I was still talking to her. And it was funny because we were talking on the phone about one thing which my dad could hear, while the REAL conversation was going on in MSN!

*HOLY CRAPPAMOLEY, HE’S ONLINE. UGHHHH. NEED TO GO APPEAR OFFLINE NOW.*

11. Joel

18. Piano class, since I was 7 years old. The most memorable thing he said to me is utterly P&C. He and I have also done a lot of memorable things, but the most recent would be yesterday when I was at his place and we were Skyping with Christine. And he picked up his guitar and started playing Plain White T’s 1234 for her (me singing accompaniment) and it was SO SWEET! It makes me want a boyfriend who can play the guitar!!! And I’ll remember him whenever I see the piano, I guess. And other times besides. :)

12. Sheng Hoay

Tagging her is a long shot since she never updates now. *just went to see her blog. she’s privatized it without telling me!!!!*

17. 1A4/2A4, I sat beside her in 2A4. Most memorable thing she said to me was saying that she always felt better after talking to me. We’ve shared so many secrets, they’re all memorable. The most memorable thing done was going rock climbing with her and the guys last year. I’ll remember her whenever I get into trouble. She’s like my counselor or something.

WILL YOU BE MY MEMORY?
Thursday, June 25, 2009

I just got off the phone with Briana.

And

I

FEEL

AWESOME!

:)

Today has definitely been one of the better days of my life the year.

lucky

COUNT TO TEN, TAKE IT IN;

stillsmiling

Sorry poor EST people, but I’M FREE!

Until September anyway.

Credits to Sparknotes and the Ed Boarders for getting me through the past few weeks!! People who are there every (other) day like Lily, Pei She, Aaron, Brian and A-drain. Every day since the exams started, I come to the Ed Board room after the last paper and we sit down and chat, and I ALWAYS FEEL BETTER AFTER THAT. No matter how crappy the exam was earlier.

Awww, wasn’t that touching?

:]

(Actually we don’t really SIT DOWN, it’s more like we run around the room flapping our arms, screeching about the mistakes we made. But yeah.)

And sometimes even before the exams, I come to the room and talk with Kai Boon if he’s there.

ED BOARD is my THERAPY, yo! :D

That’s why Thursdays always make me grumpy, because I have to head right to the library after school for library duty. I can’t be even five minutes late. And cause of that, I miss out on the Ed Boarders post-school chat. I simply cannot wait to retire from the librarians. I’m counting the days to retirement.

But somehow I CAN’T be grumpy today! So don’t try and make me!

And now, I am going to jam the whole internet connection by downloading all the songs I missed out on the last few weeks.

THE CRACKS IN MY SKIN CAN PROVE, AS THE YEARS WILL TESTIFY;
Monday, June 22, 2009

It’s not 25 June yet but HANG EVERYTHING. I need to talk about the Biology Paper 3 exam!

WARNING: If you’re in a bad mood and you didn’t do well in your paper 3, skip this post. I don’t intentionally mean to rub it in, alright?

:(

So I got the paper and I flipped to the back to see the written practical part.

“Construct an experiment to determine the level of water pollution in pond water, river water…”

I nearly popped.

WHAAAAT? I study yeast, population density and rate of transpiration and you give me WATER POLLUTION?!!

I hadn’t studied this at all. I couldn’t remember ANYTHING about the water pollution experiment except for one fact – it involved methylene blue solution. And a fat lotta help that was, because I couldn’t remember what the meth blue solution was supposed to do. Turn green? Decolourise? Give off effervescence?

I was so, so screwed.

I decided, okay lah. Just create an experiment of my own. It’s gonna be all wrong but at least there’ll be something for the teacher to mark. Better than handing in a blank paper.

So one and a half hours later, we had all handed in the paper and I was feeling really terrible. I asked Prashanth,

“So what was the experiment anyway?”

“Oh just add meth blue to each of the water samples and they decolourize. The faster they decolourize, the more polluted it is.”

I stared.

“That’s it?”

“Yeah.”

“You sure?”

“Yup.”

*long pause*

“Oh, my God. That’s what I wrote.”

And yes, my made-up experiment had consisted of adding meth blue to the water samples and waiting for them to decolourize.

I SWEAR TO GOD I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE EXPERIMENT WAS LIKE. I MADE IT ALL UP.

AND.

I.

GOT.

IT.

RIGHT.

:D !!!!!!!!!

AM I OR AM I NOT THE LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE TODAY?

And yeah, I know my experiment used beakers instead of reagent bottles (which makes sense lah) and I didn’t have any diagram, WHO CARES. I’m getting more marks than I expected I would!

So do ignore the crazy little monkey jumping around the room like a live pogo stick! In my opinion, she’s totally excused!

I AM LUCKYLUCKYLUCKYLUCKYLUCKYLUCKYLUCKY!

I mean, what are the chances of you making up an experiment and hitting it right on the spot?

Somebody upstairs loves ♥♥♥ me VERY VERY MUCH. :)

Although, granted, I can’t say the same for the rest of my papers lah.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT.

PS: Sparknotes are awesome!

change

HIATUS

to resume after this post.

So the plan was to get up at 7.30AM (I slept at 11pm last night) and go and cycle around the housing area this morning. Exercise mah. Then come back and study Physics and do modern Maths. I was damn semangated for it last night. I told myself today would be productive.

Then this morning my eyes and looked at the clock…

10.30AM

Oh what the…a5ae31c4185bc60cd006650dc10f8147

And then as I was passing by the computer room and thinking, I wonder if the sucky net connection is okay yet. So I turned on the computer and… I’ve been here ever since.

I. Need. Help. :/

Oh and right now, sister’s at her BRATs workshop in Ipoh. I hope she enjoys herself there as much as I did at mine last year. :) I hope she gets a bad case of BRATs withdrawal symptoms at the end of it.

Genius.

And it’s partly the reason I’m not joining the Twitter craze yet. I think celebrities are overrated, which is why I don’t follow any. Anyway, it’s gonna end up just like my Plurk. My karma’s dropping like mad and I DON’T CARE.

Okay I ciao. See you on the 25th of June.

I’M A SOLDIER, A RIDER, A GHETTO SURVIVOR, AND ALL THE ABOVE.

GREEN FEST 09 @ FRIM, 7 JUNE 2009

Forgot to bring the camera, so I snitched all these pictures. Credits to Jirwan, Jeremy, Jie Cong and Andrian. :) They take much prettier pictures anyway.

EDITTTTED 11/6 – I added some more pictures. All camwhore ones. Not that it makes much difference. But I didn’t want to make a new post specially for them. Haha.

SOMEBODY CALL NINE-ONE-ONE!
Thursday, June 4, 2009

“And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad, that dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had.”

ADAM LAMBERT’S MAD WORLD IS CREEPY!

Eeeesh. I love the song, but I get goosebumps every single time I hear that bit being played.

And HOMG HOMG so many nice new songs lately.

Don’t Stop Believin’ – Glee Cast (I set this one as my alarm ringtone!)
Green Day – Know Your Enemy (My favorite right now lah.)
Keith Urban – Kiss A Girl
Adam Lambert – Mad World

Charice – Note to God (this one is sad.)
Goodbye – Kristinia DeBarge
Linkin Park – New Divide
Kris Allen – No Boundaries
(whatever the judges said, I like his version better!)
Green Day – 21 Guns
David Cook – Permanent (another damn sad one.)

Maino ft. T-Pain – All The Above (I like the chorus.)

And okay, I admit to snitching a few of them from Justin’s blog.

A FEW.

And Justin may like this particular PostSecret.

So him right?

HAHA.

PS: If you sit for your exams you get bad karma cause you’re wasting lots and lots of paper. Mother Earth sure get angry. So work off that bad karma by COMING FOR WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY!!!

THEY RESPECT I KEEPS IT REAL,
Tuesday, June 2, 2009

So I was looking through the CHS Sports Day photos. And then I realized I never posted up any of them pictures.

But, better late than never, huh?

Anyway, here’s to remind you of ALL the hard work that EVERYONE from ALL the houses put in. No more stupid comments, hopefully. Here go the very very belated respects to us. :)

Hopefully that’ll be the last of the Sports Day craze.

Glory, glory Rumah Kuning!
