My forecast results are really pretty! And so is the class T-shirt.

I just had to tell you that. :)

JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN’T FEEL IT TOO DOESN’T MEAN THAT YOU HAVE TO FORGET.
Monday, October 26, 2009

I’m FINE. Only I was down with diarrhea and vomiting and fever all weekend. I get headaches whenever I read for too long, and I haven’t had any appetite since Friday. And you have no idea what it feels like to NOT feel hungry! I’ve dropped 2kg and wasted two perfectly good days of studying.

On top of everything, I have the impossible, mammoth task of completing the class t-shirt before graduation, with SPM only 23 days away.

D:

Time to SERIOUSLY hit the books! Because like David said when he got his less-than-satisfactory Chemistry Paper 3 back:

“You know what this means? This means NO JOB!!!”

(Of course we all heard something else. But that’s besides the point, eh? x))

I’m very very tempted to NOT do as all the other SPM bloggers are doing and prove that somehow I can go online and still be able to study productively. But for those of you who know me, that’s utter rubbish. :) Even though my trials results are wayyyy beyond satisfying (to myself only, of course!)… Better not to take chances with my willpower.

Therefore, here goes conformity nothing:

*takes a deep breath*

HYE-AH-TUSS!

There, it is proclaimed. Exceptions will be made for Graduation, which is only 7 schooling days away. I’m wasting the 8th day away here at home, recovering from a freaking viral infection. ):

Would the rest of the world please have pity on all the 17-year-old Malaysians and refrain from uploading nice songs, videos and posts while we’re staring life-or-death in the face, so as not to distract us?

We promise to spare you when we start ruling the world. :)

On a random note, my family in Penang seems determined to make me miss all my running events. On August 1st, I had to miss the King of the Road for Angela’s wedding. On November 1st I’ll be missing the Terry Fox Cancer Run for Yeh-yeh’s birthday!!! I mean I love you all lah, but your timing is OFF.

PS: Oh I tell you right. Outbreak is the PERFECT movie to watch when you’re sick, or just recovering. :)

Listening to: Owl City – Fireflies

They won’t allow me to embed; but you have to watch this music video. I just heard it last night and *swoons* hee hee. Screw Britney! How come songs like this never make it to the top more often?

I liked it when he pressed the button labelled “magic”. :) And I didn’t like it when he pressed it again. :(

10 days left.

The worst place you can get a mosquito bite is on the sole of your foot. It either itches or tickles.

Aaaargh. ):

HELLO! I  went back in time and updated.

Okay no lah. I just adjusted the time on my blog so that it would look like I’ve been damn rajin and blogging every day.

And also cause I want to share pictures. I’m addicted to iamblessed. Don’t share the pictures will die.

fly!_iamblessed

I’m getting fat and lazy. I haven’t studied much since the trials ended. And yes I know got only one month left to SPM lah. All I’ve been doing is working on people’s belated birthday presents / pre-graduation presents. And listening to Boys Like Girls. And 3OH!3’s Starstrukk, which makes me dearly want to be able to whistle. I can’t whistle. All that ever comes out is a bit of spit and a lot of air. :(

OH, and Happy Deepavali!

Kim’s right. I wonder how come we never get excited as much over any of the other hundreds of festivals we celebrate here in Malaysia.

Yes lah I know. SPM coming still can find so much time to blog every day.

But I’m here BECAUSEEEEE I got my first A1 for Chemistry since last year’s first term exam. And other really satisfying results besides.

That settles it. Chemistry must be a guy for me. Must be a really hot, intelligent, smart guy. Physics must be a girl, which is why I simply cannot understand her. As for Bio, I’m pretty sure she’s a girl. So freaking complicated, yet I still get it. (Something Hock Eu and I came up with last night. Haha.)

And yes, I feel exceedingly awesome! :D

jump3_iamblessed

I'm gonna kiss the sky tonight, maybe you should try it
I'm gonna learn to fly tonight, and you're invited
'Cause all the things that we've become are making me so fucking numb
And this time I have had enough, goodbye!
And say hello to the end of the world.

This post is somewhat dedicated to the English Lit tuition group.

This is what a group of bored, fickle-minded, starving high school Literature in English students do when they’re given the time and the money.

Image1071

They go buy a cake and dedicate it to themselves.

:D

Next time we’ll make it tiramisu!

Image1073

Aaaaaaaaand this is the plate of squid that I got so excited about and almost paid RM3 for. The picture, by the way, is life-size.

Maybe a bit bigger. But not by much. KENA CONNED!

BUT BUT BUT at least I know that the English alphabet has 26 letters. Not 27!

*coughKARLUIScough*

Now to go make love to Physics. (:

After attending the SASA award ceremony today, I’m not sure whether to be thoroughly embarrassed by a certain ex-CHS-ian *coughcoughcoughCOUGH*, thoroughly belittled by the sheer amount of personality surrounding me, thoroughly awed by the number of BRATs and ex-Puay Chai-ians, or just thoroughly excited about college.

I think I’ll settle for a bit of everything. Except maybe the embarrassment. (: Booooooo sama you!

Here’s something for all of you.

Boom Boom Pow according to David and Kai Boon.

Got a kit kat? Got a kit kat? Got a kit kat?
Got a kit kat-kat-kat?

Boon-boon-boon, got a kit kat?
Boon-boon-boon, got a kit kat?
Boon-boon-boon, got a kit kat?
Boon-boon-boon, got a kit kat?

I can almost hear Kai Boon now:

“NO, I DON’T HAVE A BLOODY KIT KAT!!”

\m/ >.< \m/

Rock on! (:

JUST A BEAUTIFUL DISASTER.
Friday, October 9, 2009

Today I had 4 solid hours of English Lit, had a whacky lunch, did a lady a good turn by offering to pay her bus fare when she didn’t have change, and solved the mystery of the road-crossing chickens.

Why did the chicken(s) cross the road?

The answer, according to Karluis, Stephanie, Juosie, Su Saint, Lily and Louise is:

THEY NEEDED TO CATCH THEIR BUS.

(Ha ha, not funny. But whatever. :] )

I did feel like a chicken, the way we were running after the bus and yelling for it to stop.

Tomorrow’s the SASA awarding thing, and I am going to accept it because I am not convinced of my ability to score 9As. 7As maybe, but not 9. If a scratch off all the subjects I am pretty sure I can scrape an A in, I’m left with Sejarah, Chinese and Add Math. :)

I have nothing to wear tomorrow.

HELP MEEEEEEE.

D:

IT STARTED OUT AS A FEELING,
Monday, October 5, 2009

I just got my letter about the SASA and I only got 4k, when all along I thought I got double that. Not that I really care very much, but I’ve been telling everyone that I got 8k. =________= malu malu piang piang.

Even after drinking coffee, I have NO IDEA what to do now that the trials are over. Because all the while we were trying to conquer physics, add math and chemistry, SPM and graduation have been sneaking up on us.

Well. Physics conquered me.

Forget SPM! As of today, there’re only 17 schooling days left till graduation.

After SPM I want to go on a road trip. Find a friend who can drive and we’ll drive awwwll the way to Singapore or something. Or it could even be dead spontaneous. Just hop in the car with some cash and a coin (for choosing where to go at junctions) and see where it takes us.

Sounds like FUN kan? :D Anybody else up for it?

You’ll have to do the driving though, cause I can’t. :D or we could take a train lah.

I MEAN. I’ve been cooped up in KL ALL YEAR because of the freaking SPM! The only two times I’ve been out of the state were for Chinese New Year and Angela’s wedding, and both were in PENANG.

*fumes*

YOU KNOW WHAT?

I think I’ll go do an add maths model test paper. Seeing as my tuition teacher won’t be here for another… 4.5 hours.

YES THIS IS LOUISE LAH. I swear I didn’t kidnap her and wash her brain out with sodium alkyl benzene sulphonate stuff :D She’s just… feeling a little bit more on the angelic side today.

YEEEEEEEHA!

:)

PS: OH you know the lollipop in my display picture up there? The one I got for my birthday back in April?

CIMG6356

THIS thing?

Well…

I’ve finally started eating it.

HAHA.
